Sweets are small things that you eat, made of sugar, such as cookies, lollipops or chocolate. In America sweets are called candy. Food that is sweet is bad for your teeth, but... oh, so tasty! We eat sweets on special days, like Christmas or Valentine's Day. And it's hard to imagine having a birthday without a birthday cake.
