Fish live in water. You can find them in lakes, rivers, seas, and oceans around the world. They have gills to breathe, fins to swim, and scales that cover their bodies. Some fish are big, other fish are small. A flounder is flat, a seahorse looks like a horse, and eels look like snakes. Clownfish get their names from their bright colours. Not all animals with the word fish in their names are fish. For example jellyfish and starfish are not really fish.
