When to say a and when to say an? What is the difference between singular and plural nouns? How to turn singular nouns to plural? Let's learn and practise English nouns!
In this unit you will find resources for teachers and students to learn English singular and plural nouns in a fun way. Try our online activities and printables as well to convince kids that grammar can be fun! Use them as warm-ups, fillers, complete lessons, homework, or extra practice in the classroom.
There are three types of them. First comes the grammar lesson that gives students basic information, short and easy to memorize. The new grammar points are then practised through a series of easy exercises. Finally, kids take the tests that check what they have learnt with the help of our lesson.
There are lots of colourful pictures on our pages. When you are online, use them to practise English by doing simple exercises. For example, ask kids to describe the picture, make sentences that go with it, ask questions about the picture, give the picture a title, and so on. On the test page there are also four picture riddles. You can use them as a fun way to introduce, practise or review grammar points.
Our worksheets complete the online activities. However, you can use them independently, in any way you like. Choose from posters, flashcards, worksheets, grammar games, and tests. All of them make learning English fun for kids.
