how to play the game

This is a whole-class reaction card game to practise food vocabulary in a fun way.

preparation

Print out cards. If you want, you can stick the printout onto the heavy paper. Laminate for future use.
Cut out the individual cards along the dashed lines. Learn more how to prepare our one-sided cards (pdf).


how to play

  • Distribute the cards as evenly as possible to the pupils.
  • Whoever has the starting card reads it out, for example: Who has got some chicken?
  • The child with this card says: I have got some chicken. Who has got pears?
  • The game continues in this manner until the group reaches the end.
